Day Spa: Relaxation and Rejuvenation
My best friend and I planned my bachelorette party together. I am not much of a club person so we were looking for ideas that did not include loud music or crowded nightclubs. I have been friends with the same group of 5 girls since high school and I really wanted to keep my bachelorette party very intimate and personal.We finally came to the decision that there could be no better way to celebrate my last days as a single woman than being completely pampered from head to toe, so we started looking for a day spa. We found a beautiful spa in Laguna Beach, California.
My bachelorette party started with all 6 of us meeting at my home and being picked up in a stunning Rolls Royce Silver Spur limousine, I truly felt like a princess in that car! The limo took us on the scenic route to the spa and we all had champagne and orange juice to toast my special day.
When we arrived at the spa I was shocked. It was the most beautiful place I have seen in my life. It was surrounded by white sandy beaches, sparkling water, every type of tropical plant and flower you could imagine, and breathtaking artwork. It was paradise on earth!
We were greeted and escorted to our private villa where our day of relaxation and beauty would take place. We thought it would be fun if each of us got a different treatment. I decided to get a "revitalizer" treatment. First my masseuse exfoliated my skin (even my elbows), then she detoxified my skin with a head to toe seaweed masque. After the masque was removed with warm clothes she gave me the most wonderful full body massage that lasted for 1 and 1/2 hours!
After our treatments we all got manicures, pedicures, and had a gourmet meal prepared by the spas French chef. It was one of the best days of my life. I could not imagine a more perfect bachelorette party, just me and my closet girlfriends totally and completely stress free in an oceanfront paradise. I hope my story will an inspiration to other bachelorettes.
